Without a doubt it can be called a pioneer in the development of national organic cheese. Nowadays Bio Kaas B.V. is market leader in the organic cheese sector and also in the conventional markets, the specialties have their own renowned position. The takeover in 2002 by Rouveen Kaasspecialiteiten has only further strengthened this position ever since. The milk is obtained from members of our co-operative association and there is intense contact between both companies about quality, R&D, environmental, commercial and technical matters.

The possibility to supply an extend product range. It varies from Gouda cheeses in different aging categories, an impressive list of herb cheeses, a number of blue and red culture surface cheeses and a range of fresh goat milk cheese. This all can be further divided on the basis of the milk origin (such as cow, sheep and goat) as well as the type (conventional, organic or bio organic).
Bio Kaas is a very interesting supplier for a large number of customers because of our extend product range. We are specialized in picking and supplying orders with many items in one single shipment. With great care, the orders are picked and packed in a way that is safe and in optimal condition for transportation to our customers.

This brand has been carefully built up as of the early seventies by Jan Bastiaansen. His daughter Marja is still working in the sales and marketing department with her well known energy and enthusiasm. Thanks to these strengths ‘Bastiaansen’ has become a standard in the market.
